Rekeep S.p.A. is the leading company in Italy in Integrated Facility Management, which involves the management and provision of integrated services to both public and private clients, aimed at real estate, the territory, and in support of healthcare activities. For Rekeep, Pomiager is developing the project HELIOS – Holistic Energy-efficient Living and Integrated

Optimization System, which aims to create a prototype Digital Twin. This represents an evolution of the current BIM (Building Information Modeling) management of a constructed building, being real-time and adaptive, integrated with the external ecosystem (e.g., other stakeholders/systems), and equipped with connected, interoperable, and sustainable technologies that enable the monitoring and optimization of energy resource use.

The solution will allow real estate asset managers to simulate the energy profile of the building, enrich it with real data from the field (e.g., user behavior), and reconfigure processes for optimal management of the premises, including maintenance aspects. Ultimately, it aims to enhance the energy efficiency and performance of the asset in terms of living comfort, overall accelerating the data-driven and model-based approach in facility management. Additionally, HELIOS aims to contribute to achieving climate neutrality, referencing the standards of the EU “Fit For 55” package that attributes 40% of final energy consumption to buildings and encourages improving the energy performance of 75% of the building stock.
